One Computer User Faced One Problem And He Writes Mail To The Support Center.
Dear Tech Support:Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began expected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3,Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no longer run,crashing the system whenever selected. I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favourite applications.I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn’t work on Wife 1.0. Troubled User:This is a very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not to allow this.Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support." I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation.I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.The best course of action is to enter the command C: \ APOLOGIZE. Because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds5.0! WARNING!!!O NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

चोभार सल्लाघारीमा तेह्रथुमकी २१ वषर्ीया प्रवीना ढुंगानाकोे गोली हानी हत्या गरेपछि आत्महत्या गर्ने कुलेश्वरका २५ वषर्ीय पुकार सिग्देलका परिवारले हतियारबारे थाहा नभएको बताएका छन् । उनीसँगै हुर्केका र मन मिल्ने दौंतरीसमेत देशबाहिर रहेको उनको परिवारको दाबी छ ।
महानगरीय अपराध महाशाखा हनुमानढोकाले हतियार अनुसन्धानको जिम्मा कालीमाटी प्रहरी प्रभागलाई दिएको छ । प्रभाग प्रमुख डीएसपी सुरेन्द्रविक्रम शाहका अनुसार प्रयोग भएको पेस्तोल फलामे कालो रंगको छ । पेस्तोलमा गोली राख्ने म्यागजिनको भाग काठको छ । 'नाइन एमएम' क्षमताको गोली लाग्ने पेस्तोलको 'रेन्ज' १५ गज रहेको अनुसन्धानमा संलग्न प्रहरीले बताएको छ ।

प्रेमिकाको हत्यापछि आत्महत्या
कीर्तिपुर, जेठ ६ - प्रवीना र पुकार बिहे गर्ने निक्र्यौलमा पुगिसकेका थिए । प्रवीनाको परिवारलाई भने उनीहरूको सम्बन्ध मन परेको थिएन । पुकारले प्रवीना आफ्नो नभए, अरूको पनि हुन नदिने धारणा बनाए ।
त्यही भएर, प्रेमपत्र फिर्ता गर्ने निहुँमा बोलाएर उनले प्रेमिकालाई गोली हाने । उनको ज्यान गएको केही बेरपछि सोचमग्न प्रेमीले त्यही पेस्तोलले आफ्नो कञ्चटमा हाने ।
प्रहरीका अनुसार चोभार सल्लाघारीमा आइतबार दिउँसो तेह्रथुमकी २१ वषर्ीया प्रवीना ढुंगानाको हत्या भएको थियो भने कुलेश्वरका २६ वषर्ीय पुकार सिग्देलले आत्महत्या गरेका थिए ।
पुकारले सल्लाघारीबाट करिब २ किलो मिटर दूरीमा रहेको त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयस्थित शिव मन्दिर परिसरमा पुगेर आफैंलाई हानेका थिए । महानगरीय अपराध महाशाखा प्रमुख एसएसपी उपेन्द्रकान्त अर्यालका अनुसार युवतीको टाउको पछाडि एक राउन्ड गोली हानिएको छ । शरीरको अन्य भागमा चोट छैन ।
युवक गोली लागेर छटपटिरहेका बेला बटुवाले प्रहरीलाई खबर गरेका थिए । घटनास्थल पुगेको कीर्तिपुर प्रहरीले उनलाई वीर अस्पताल पुर्याएको थियो । महाशाखाका अनुसार उपचारका क्रममा उनको मृत्यु भएको
थियो ।
अनुसन्धानमा संलग्न प्रहरीका अनुसार युवतीलाई प्रहार गरेको खोका ती युवकले बगलीमै बोकेका थिए । साथै ट्याङ्लाफाँटबाट प्रहरीले पेस्तोल र तीन राउन्ड गोली, युवकको पर्सर्मा युवतीको सामूहिक तस्बिर,

महाशाखाका अनुसार युवकले मदिरा सेवन गरेको पाइएको छ । युवतीको सामूहिक तस्बिरमा ती युवक देखिँदैनन् । साताअघि प्रवीनाको पूर्वी नेपालका एक युवकसँग पोखरामा विवाह भएको थियो । सल्लाघारीबाट प्रहरीले बिहेका सबै तस्बिरका नेगेटिभ, दुलाहाको कम्प्युटरबाट पि्रन्ट गरेको फोटो र सिन्दुरको डिब्बा फेला पारेको छ । बिहानको खाना खाई हिँडेकी प्रवीनाले परिवारका कुनै पनि सदस्यलाई जानकारी नगराई घर छाडेकी थिइन् ।
ती युवकले उनलाई पुराना प्रेमपत्र फिर्ता गर्ने बहानामा बोलाएको आशंका प्रहरीको छ । उनीहरू बस चढेर सल्लाघारी पुगेका थिए ।
पुकारका दाजु पवनले प्रहरीलाई बताएअनुसार उनी बेला-बेला प्रेमिका रहेको खुलासा गर्थे । केही साताअघि मात्रै उनले पवनसँग १८ हजार मागेका थिए । दाजुले रकम दिने आश्वासन पनि दिएका थिए । पेस्तोल खरिदका लागि रकम मागेको हुनसक्ने प्रहरीको अनुमान छ । चार वर्षअघि सिंगापुरबाट होटल व्यवस्थापन विषयमा डेढ वर्षेे कोर्ष गरेका उनी केही दिनमै क्यानडा जाने तयारीमा थिए । उनी नक्सालस्थित 'नेक्सस' इन्स्िटच्युटमा अध्यापन गराउँथे । प्रहरीका अनुसार युवतीसँग सिग्देल परिवारले बिहेको प्रस्ताव राखेको थियो । परिवारले त्यो अस्वीकार गर्नुको कारण खुलेको छैन ।
एसएसपी अर्यालका अनुसार घट्टेकुलोमा दुलाहासँग बस्दै आएकी ती युवतीको साथमा रहेको झोलामा बालुवाटारस्थित नेसनल कलेज फर हाइयर एजुकेसनमा बीबीएस अध्ययन गर्दै गरेको परिचयपत्र फेला परेको छ ।

Youth kills girl and self
KATHMANDU, May 20 - A youth shot dead a girl before killing himself at Chovar area in the capital Sunday afternoon.
According to Metropolitan Police Sector Office, Kirtipur, one Pukar Sigdel, 24, of Kuleshwor area in the capital shot dead Prabina Dhungana, 21, at Chovar Sallaghari before killing himself at about 1 pm Sunday. Police said the slain Dhungana was married to a youth from eastern Nepal some one week ago.
The youth had walked all the way from Chovar to Tyanglaphanta, some 2 kilometers away from Chovar, before pointing the pistol at his own temple. Pedestrians walking past the area informed police after finding him struggling for life. According to Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Hanumandhoka, he died while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital.
Police have found similar cartridges at Chovar Sallaghari and Tyanglaphanta. Among other things, police have recovered three live bullets and a group photograph of three girls from the incident site at Tyanglaphanta. The slain girl is one of those shown in the photograph.
According to police, the girl was shot through the head from behind. There are no injuries in other parts of her body. Her newly married husband works in a non-government office in Kathmandu. Police suspect the duo could have had a love affair in the past. Sigdel had recently come to Nepal after completing his Hotel Management Study in Singapore. Sources close to his family said he was planning to go to Canada for further study.

मर्नुअघिको कीर्तिमान
घरले जा जा र वनले आइज आइज भन्ने उमेरकी एक बूढी हजुरआमाले स्नातक गरेर नयाँ कीर्तिमान कायम गरेकी छिन्। पढ्नका लागि उमेरको बन्धन हुँदैन भन्ने तथ्यलाई प्रमाणित गर्ने यी हजुरआमा हुन् पन्चानब्बे वर्षकी नोला ओक्स । उनले शनिबार इतिहास विषयमा कन्सासको फोर्ट हायास स्टेट युनिभर्सिर्टीबाट स्नातक उपाधि प्राप्त गरेकी हुन् ।
यो उपाधिसँगै उनले सबैभन्दा पाको उमेरमा स्नातक उपाधि प्राप्त गर्ने अमेरिकी कीर्तिमान राखेकी छिन् ।
रमाइलो कुरा त के रह्यो भने नोला कै २२ वर्षकी नातिनीले पनि उनीसँगै स्नातक उपाधि प्राप्त गरेकी थिइन् । दायाँ छेउमा देखिने चाहिँ उनकी २१ वर्षीया नातिनी हुन् सँगै स्नातक गर्ने।
यो उपाधिसँगै उनले सबैभन्दा पाको उमेरमा स्नातक उपाधि प्राप्त गर्ने अमेरिकी कीर्तिमान राखेकी छिन् ।

नोलाको जन्म प्रथम विश्वयुद्ध भन्दा अगाडि सन् उन्नाइस सय एघारमा भएको थियो । कलेजको कोस्र उनले सन् उन्नाइस सय तीसमा नै लिएकी थिइन् । तर चार-चार जना छोराहरु हुर्काउनु पर्ने भएकोले उनले पढाइमा ध्यान दिने मौका नै पाइनन् ।सन् उन्नाइस सय अठहत्तरमा पतिको मृत्यु भएपछि उनले फेरि पढाइ गर्न थालेकी थिइन् । त्यतिबेला उनको उमेर छयहत्तर वर्षको थियो ।
अब स्नातक उपाधि पनि प्राप्त भयो । के छ त उनको विचारउनी भन्छन् अब मलाई जागिर खाने मन छ समुद्री जहाजमा जसमा बसेर म विश्वयात्रा गर्न सकूँ ।
Saikale Stuck in Mpanda
Tanzania is one of the most beautiful countries in East Africa. Home to more then 100 different ethnic groups, the country boasts the largest number of wildlife and herbs in the continent. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest and the most magnificent peak in the African continent and I am thinking to climb it. Why not? If I plan to climb Mt Everest in 2010 it shouldn't be a big deal. I guess I can see the whole of Africa atop Kilimanjaro. Hahaha! Serengeti, the world famous wildlife park too is in Tanzania. Herds of wild beast sweeping majestically across the plain- stately giraffes, indolent lions, and stealthy cheetah all call this natural reserve home.
The natural beauty perhaps made Alan Moorehead say 'Anyone who can go to the Serengeti, and does not, is mad.'But I am in south west part of Tanzania. I entered in Tanzania from Malawi. This part of the country is still underdeveloped or wild if I can say so. The region has mere 100 kilo meters of paved road the rest are dirt roads up till Kigoma. I am not going to Dodoma or Dar es Salam. Dodoma is the political capital of Tanzania and Dar es Salam is the commercial capital with all the diplomats living there. I am heading to Burundi but don't have the visa for it. If I go to Dar es Salam and then go to Burundi it will take me two months. I heard Kigoma has a Burundi consulate and I am going there on the basis of what people say. If I don't get a visa for Burundi I will miss Rwanda and Uganda as well.
It took me three days to reach Namanyare from Tunduma and between Mpanda and Tunduma lies Katavi National Park. It isn't a safe idea to ride my bike inside the park. A policeman suggested I catch a ride for the park has lions.
Though the lions hide in the bushes in the day the tche tche flies are abundant. These flies are more dangerous than lions. The natural beauty perhaps made Alan Moorehead say 'Anyone who can go to the Serengeti, and does not, is mad.'But I am in south west part of Tanzania. I entered in Tanzania from Malawi. This part of the country is still underdeveloped or wild if I can say so. The region has mere 100 kilo meters of paved road the rest are dirt roads up till Kigoma. I am not going to Dodoma or Dar es Salam. Dodoma is the political capital of Tanzania and Dar es Salam is the commercial capital with all the diplomats living there. I am heading to Burundi but don't have the visa for it. If I go to Dar es Salam and then go to Burundi it will take me two months. I heard Kigoma has a Burundi consulate and I am going there on the basis of what people say. If I don't get a visa for Burundi I will miss Rwanda and Uganda as well.
It took me three days to reach Namanyare from Tunduma and between Mpanda and Tunduma lies Katavi National Park. It isn't a safe idea to ride my bike inside the park. A policeman suggested I catch a ride for the park has lions.
Though the lions hide in the bushes in the day the tche tche flies are abundant. These flies are more dangerous than lions. मान्छेको अपहरण होस् या हत्या नै जे गरेपनि कानुनीले माखो नमार्ने घटनाको प्रत्यक्षदर्शि नेपालीहरुको लागि एउटा आश्चर्यजनक खवर छ । मदिरा सेवन गरेर सवारी चलाएको विषयमा पनि यही पृथ्वीको कुनै कुनामा जेल सजाय हुने रहेछ । त्यो पनि सामान्य ब्यक्तिको लागि हैन चर्चित सुन्दरीलाइ नै हो ।
यो खवर हो अमेरिकाको । उपद्रोका कारण सधै चर्चामा आउने अमेरिकी मोडल पेरीस हिल्टनले अघिल्लो वर्ष मदिरा सेवन गरेर गाडी हाँकेको अभियोगमा ४५ दिनको जेल सजाय पाएकी छिन् । नेपालीका लागि भएन त नौलो खवर ।
लस एन्जलसस्थित एक अदालतले २६ वर्षीया हिल्टनलाई दिएको सजायबारे पुष्टि गर्दै जेलमा रहँदा कुनै पनि कार्य गर्न नपाउने फैसला गरेको समाचार पढ्दा मलाइ झलझली नेपालको यर्थाथ आँखामा आयो ।

Celebrating Dasain and Tihar in Nepal after a long time was good. Now I am back in Africa to continue my journey around the world. The concluding days of my trip to Nepal was dotted with farewell dinners hosted by Education Sansar and my family members. I was taking an evening flight of Qatar Airways to Qatar from where I would be traveling to Africa to continue my journey. Delayed by twenty minutes the flight was almost packed with fellow Nepalis flying out for better career opportunities to the Middle East. After a smooth takeoff, the 'fasten your seat belt' sign went off, this was followed by a pretty airhostess approaching us with a tray of chocolates. Sitting besides me was a young Nepali bhai, who seemed to have mistaken the chocolates for popcorn. He grabbed a fistful to the surprise of the airhostess. May be she wasn't use to such behavior. I, on the other hand, no longer had a taste for the sweets.
But it wasn't always like that. One of my school memories is that of going to celebrate the royal couple's birthday in the district capital. All the students were told to be dressed neatly and be present at the celebration program. After the jubilations we were returning home and had no money to buy chocolates or toffee. So to kill time and make the journey back home easy, my friend and I started to collect chocolate wrappers from the street. By the time we got home we had plenty and we used them as money in our game of marbles.
But the children in many remote villages these days no longer get to enjoy such sweets, as the commence of democracy in 1990 made such celebrations optional.
Moving away from the fond memories I turned my attention to my flight partner. "Where are you from," I asked him. He hailed from the far East and was flying off to Middle East on a loan. First time in a plane, my friend here had never been to Kathmandu. All excited about his new job as a security guard in Qatar, he flaunted his two years contract of safe guarding someone else's property. "I am going to be earning Rs 15000 per month approximately," he boasted. As he chewed on his chocolate and told me about his future life, the stewardess approached asking us about our preferred drinks.
I asked for a glass of wine and he drank beer, solely because he didn't know what wine tasted like. "He will know later," I thought to myself. Drinks were followed by dinner which was scrumptious. Since he didn't speak any English, he asked me to ask the flight attendant for another dinner set for him. And I did.

INTERVIEW WITH SITASHMA CHAND
- “Beauty with brains” may seem very clichéd, but after our encounter with this beauty, we could not help but conclude that she had just the right combination of the two. Tall, smart, sassy, 23-year-old newly crowned Miss Nepal Sitashma Chand is the face of today’s confident Nepali woman.
In an exclusive interview with Nepal’s number one news website, eKantipur, Sitashma talks to Sudha Regmi and Anshu Karki. Excerpts:
Q. How did you feel on winning the crown? What did you think your chances were?
Sitashma Chand: Of course I feel very happy and proud. As for the chances, everyone was there to win. Although in the beginning I thought I had a strong chance, but as the grooming sessions began everyone was a threat to everyone else.
Q. There were 19 other equally beautiful and talented young women around you, what do you think made you stand out?
Sitashma: I was confident but not overly so. I am a very hard-working person and also a fast learner. I think these traits helped me get an edge over the others.
Q. Why did you choose to participate? In Nepal, the former Miss Nepal’s have not really made a mark, so were you inspired by any of them?
Sitashma: I did not dream of becoming a Miss Nepal since my childhood or anything like that. It’s just that as I grew up I saw this as an opportunity to explore my inner abilities. I was inspired by other Miss Nepals like Ruby Rana, Shweta Singh and Malvika Subba.
Q. What are your future plans? You must already be getting endorsement offers.
Sitashma: No, not yet it’s just been a few days since I won the title. As for my future plans, I have to prepare for Miss World but its venue and date have not been fixed yet. Alongside that I plan to fulfill whatever responsibilities that come my way as Miss Nepal. I also want to work with organizations related to social causes. I am inclined towards women and children’s causes but I have not chosen any particular organization as I have yet to do my research.
Q. Do you think one can make a career out of this?
Sitashma: No. Winning this title is an achievement but maintaining it is even tougher. I think I will need to plan my future and decide on a career. How can Miss Nepal just be a career. This is simply a new beginning.
Q. Do you feel sad to see that Nepal does not have much scope for beauty queens whereas in India, Bollywood and the glamour industry open their doors for their beauty queens and enable them to have a career?
Sitashma: There is no question of me being sad. You can’t live in Nepal and have dreams of India and America. I am a Miss Nepal and will have opportunities that Nepal can present to me. I knew very well what I was getting into. Q. If you get offers from Kollywood, will you say yes?
Sitashma: No. I don’t intend to join movies.
Q. Critics have slammed Miss Nepal as “Miss Urban Nepal” because of the lack of participation of girls from areas other than the Kathmandu valley, Biratnagar and Dharan. Do you think you represent the whole of Nepal and what do you think you personally can do to encourage participation from all over?Sitashma: Obviously I don’t think that I am the prettiest and the smartest girl in Nepal. There are equally talented and deserving girls in the rural areas too. There are girls who have completed their graduation and still remain in obscurity. As for encouraging others to participate, I would like to start by sending a message through eKantipur to all the girls to believe in yourself and please come forward and participate.
Q. Miss Nepal’s have never achieved anything of great significance in our country, what do you think you can do to enhance the prestige of this title?
Sitashma: I believe that to help others you have to first help yourself. I need to stand on my own feet. I haven’t laid out a roadmap or a plan as yet but I do plan to utilize this opportunity to the fullest. I cannot guarantee anything but I will try to leave a mark.
Q. Beauty pageants are just taken as a platform to showcase beauty only, the other aspects take a backseat. Do you think other features are really given that much importance in this competition?
Sitashma: Yes, it is. Because if it were not so I assure you I would not have won the title. I believe there were other participants more beautiful than me so it could not have been on the basis of my appearance only that I won.
